Christine Boush is our new Outdoor Recreation Coordinator. Christine joined the team in December 2007 and has worked to create diverse outdoor programming, including whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and events specific to women and children. The Summer Experience is less than a month away! It's 2 months of some of the best activities in Spartanburg County. Everything from Education Camps, to Sports Camps, and many more! It's definitely an experience you don't want your kids to miss!
SCPRC is currently undertaking the construction of a new concession and restroom building adjacent to the North Spartanburg Complex Miracle League field in partnership with the Carolina Miracle League. This facility will service the Carolina Miracle League field and the entire park and is sure to be a site feature. At the same time, our facilities staff is hard at work making improvements to the disk golf course located at Va-Du-Mar McMillan Park in the Boiling Springs Community. These improvements are sure to stand out and will make the disk golf course a great feature of the site. Read more below for details and updated pictures of both sites.

Girls on the Run® is an after school program that uses the power of running to help prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Through interactive activities such as running, playing games, and discussing important issues, participants learn how to celebrate being girls.
