This Parks and Recreation Commission sponsored high school softball tournament is held at the end of each February at the 295 Sports Complex.  Each participating Spartanburg County high school girls softball team nominates one senior player for a $1500 scholarship.  The Commission's Scholarship Committee reviews the applications and awards the scholarship to the recipient that most excels in the classroom, on the field, and as a leader in our community.
