Pacolet Recreation Center

T.W. Edwards Center offers a full range of recreational programming that includes an After School Program and Summer Camp, athletic leagues, special interest classes, and special events. The facility is host to a Spartanburg Senior Center program serving senior citizens in the Pacolet area with educational and recreational programs and a nutritious lunch.

Youth Basketball Registration

This co-ed league is for boys and girls ages 9 - 12. Registration will take place the entire month of December. Games will start in January and will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Cost is $35.00 in district and $44.00 out of district

Senior Walking Program

The Senior Center, in partnership with MedicareExtra is sponsoring a walking program from August through October. Pedometers are furnished. Participants receive t-shirts and water bottles.

Advanced Belt: 5pm-6pm

Beginner: 6pm-7pm

Age: 5 and older (adults welcome)

Cost:$40/month (in district); $50/month (out of district)

Afterschool Youth Club

Afterschool Youth Club starts on Monday, August 18, 2008. Boys and girls ages 5 - 12. $30.00 per week per child (in district) or $37.50 per week per child (out of district). Help with homework, sports and athletics, games, movies, arts and crafts and much more.

Senior Center Program

Seniors Age 55 & up enjoy a hot meal for $1.25 each day, along with specail programs, guest speakers, arts and crafts, bingo, pool, and many field trips.
